Our Approach to Autism Therapy for Kids | Soar Autism Center
Empowering children through an integrated, play-based model
Our unique care model nurtures your child's potential with innovative therapy programs that focus on learning through play and fun.
Shaping lifelong development
The early years of a child’s development are magical. We specialize in serving children ages 6 and under, a time when the brain is uniquely wired to learn through play and social interaction.
Our integrated approach based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) maximizes children’s learning potential during this unique time in their lives.
Child-centric, integrated early autism care
We bring multiple disciplines together to provide individualized learning and development through Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)-based therapy for each of our young clients and their families.
Developmental behavioral therapy
We build foundational life skills through play, relationships, and social interaction.
Speech therapy
Our dedicated SLP team supports children to develop their own robust communication system.
Occupational therapy
Our OT team supports children with coordination, sensory needs, feeding, gross motor skills, and many other areas.
Psychological care
We provide psychological services for our clients and their families, including diagnostic evaluations and as-needed parent consultation to enhance understanding of symptoms, treatment and school options, and coping mechanisms.
Comprehensive care tailored to every child
Our center prides itself on a multidisciplinary team of specialists, all under one roof, working together to deliver cohesive and personalized autism care.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
Experts in designing learning goals and programs that build your child’s foundational life skills, our BCBAs serve as your child’s team quarterback.
Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs)
As your child’s daily 1:1 therapists, RBTs focus on building a strong, trusting relationship and teaching new skills.
Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs)
Communication experts who engage your child in 1:1 sessions, SLPs ensure any communications systems are used across the team.
Developmental Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
Prioritizing each family's unique needs, our developmental pediatric NPs provide individualized medical services for families and kids, such as care coordination and medication management.
Occupational Therapists (OTs)
Focused on sensory needs, motor skills, and feeding, OTs provide 1:1 therapy and key direction to the team.
Guided by experts
Soar has the greatest number of ESDM-certified BCBAs of any provider in the US.
We work closely with leading experts on our Clinical Advisory Board and beyond.
We rigorously test the outcomes of our care model and continuously improve over time.
Unified care through interdisciplinary collaboration
We foster a collaborative environment where our specialists work as one to deliver a truly united care experience for families.
Multi-Disciplinary Assessments (MDAs)
Therapists from each discipline evaluate new clients, weaving together their insights into a single, cohesive plan of care that’s delivered with unity and precision within our walls.
Weekly Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration (MDC) meetings
Our clinicians meet weekly to review and improve therapy plans based on collective expertise, ensuring optimal care for each child.
Family Collaboration
We encourage families to join regular meetings with their child’s care team to discuss progress, ask questions, and experience the collaboration behind their child’s therapy.
A day in the life of our young learners
This sample schedule outlines all key activities and their corresponding blocks, along with timings and durations. Please note that adjustments may be made based on the specific needs and preferences of each child.
Our scheduling system was designed in collaboration with our Clinical Advisory Board to maximize learning at Soar. Children learn in a structured environment that optimizes individualized and group instruction, minimizes distractions, enhances predictability, and progressively prepares them for school through increased exposure to peer interaction.
